Why should I have my trash and recycling bins cleaned?
-
We don’t just clean your bins—we disinfect, sanitize, and deodorize them using high-pressure water at temperatures up to 230°F, effectively eliminating 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and germs. Our process includes power-washing the exterior of the bins, especially high-touch areas like the lid and handle. Our state-of-the-art cleaning system helps reduce exposure to harmful pathogens such as Tuberculosis, Strep, Staph, E. Coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.

Do I have to sign a contract?
-
No contracts are required. For recurring service, we kindly ask for a minimum of two visits to avoid a one-time service fee.
Do you clean both the inside and outside of my bins?
-
Yes. Every bin is thoroughly cleaned inside and out to ensure full sanitation and odor removal.
Which bins should I have cleaned?
-
We recommend cleaning all of your bins—trash, recycling, and yard waste. Harmful bacteria and odors can build up in each type.
Can I swap bins each visit?
-
To keep our rates affordable, we do not allow bin swapping. If you would like to add additional bins not currently on your account, just let us know in advance. We'll clean them on your next service date at the additional bin rate.
How do you know which bins to clean?
-
For recurring service plans, we attach a yellow branded zip tie to the handle of each bin enrolled in service. This helps our technicians identify which bins to clean each visit. For one-time customers, a zip tie is placed on your regular trash bin as a reference for future cleanings.
When will my bins be cleaned?
-
We clean your bins the day after your trash is collected, ensuring they are empty and ready for service.
Where should I place my bins?
-
Please leave your bins at the curb after they’ve been emptied by your trash hauler.
-
If curb placement is not possible, contact us at (844) 466-7865 or email info@americanbinwashers.com to make arrangements.
